This is my first cake I was asked to do on a pedestal.  I am not sure how to keep the drum on there without it sliding when they cut the cake.  I am a newbie to this and this is my first wedding cake and I do not want to mess this up for the bride and groom.  I thank you for any suggestions you could give me.

"glue " it on to the pedestal with royal icing or melted choc?
