Lovelly cake. What did u use to get the quilting effect on the sides?

I used a diamond cutter to make the basic shape. Then I traced the outline with a quilting tool. I took a cone shaped cake tool to poke holes into the fondant. I then enlarged the holes with a ball tool. Next the lines were made using a sculpting tool. Then the silver balls were glued in place with water.
