Haha, well, I was hoping to direct this away from all of the spam, but that would be a strange request!

Although I haven't been asked to make any weird cakes yet, I have seen others that have made cakes to celebrate their child's first time using the potty, and many other "firsts" cakes. Just wondering if I have seen the weirdest or not even close!

I never understood this cake: Female upper torso, big boobs, regular button down shirt with a little shoulder and bra strap showing on one side. It was a bachelorette party.

Buttoned up high enough that there's no cleavage showing.

I put in in my naughty cakes folder, but the other cakes wanted to throw it out of the file lol

Thanks for sharing, howsweet! That is sort of strange!

Anybody else have any stories to share??

I think mine is similar to howsweet's..I sometimes the the "Boob" or "Bum" or "ladies torso" cake requests..I'm not a huge fan and try to gently move people on to other ideas. Its just an odd thought.."Mmm, I'm gonna have me a big slice of boob cake for desert!".

Or conversely the cake in the shape of a baby..there is just something weird about hacking away at a cake in the shape of a babies bottom and legs.

I had a relative ask if I would make them a "baby being born" cake. (I don't want to share the photo in case someone doesn't want to see it). I declined because I thought it was so distasteful and really didn't want to be credited for it. LOL.

I agree! "Let's celebrate a life entering the world by symbolically taking one out!"

Yikes! I have heard that those types of cakes are the big thing lately! I don't blame you, I wouldn't want to be credited for it either!

My strangest request was a cat cake to resemble the birthday girls cat (whom she loves dearly) wearing a purple tutu with a tiara. It was the most bizarre cake ever! The birthday girl loved the cake so I guess that is all that matters

Ya, I've seen pics of those cakes! They are awful; like the thought of cutting that cake..let along gnawing away on a slice is absolutely beyond me! There is a woman in near by Fort Mac who actually specializes at "those" cakes; as well as some others (I'm not going to go into huge detail but there is a sperm and an egg involved in this cake) and she does big business. People go nuts over these cakes..personally I won't go there, but she's found her niche!

First time I asked someone what kind of cake they wanted for their birthday I got

'chocolate **** cake'.

I didn't make it that shape, but it was chocolate!

It's strange to think that someone actually specializes in those types of cakes! Like you, I can't imagine eating a slice of a cake like that... *shudders*

Many of my cakes are not fit for posting because I specialize in the underground. 8-)

I've heard it all, I've discussed it all. I've even had to look some things up, then clean out my browser history as fast as possible. My customers are a fun bunch with a great sense of humor and I love them all.

So to answer...

My weirdest request was for a vanilla cake with marshmallow fluff filling and lucky charms marshmallows on top. Diabeeeeetus cake?

Haha! That is too funny.

The lucky charms cake actually sounds good if you could make it less sweet.

Are you ready for this? Requested was one of those Pregnant Belly Cakes, but it had to actively lactate....ewwwww....but since it was for a friend, I did it....just ran tubing into the nipple, connected to a squeeze ball filled with cornstarch and water..."milk"...that was under and off to the side of the cake platter.  When you squeezed it, the fluid flew straight out....IK....Gross, but funny.  This is the farthest I will personally go...LOL

A chef called me in a panic.  He couldn't get anyone to make a severed horses head cake - like in the Mobster movie The Godfather.  Seems that he needed it for one of his friends and it was ICES cake show time and no one was available.   I was unavailable too :-).  Shuddered for three days later and I still haven't seen the movie.   Then there was the recreation of a Monet painting with a woman seated in an easy chair sort of dressed but with one boob showing  I told him I'd do it if I could cover the exposed part.  He agreed.  Then there was the wedding cake based on a square of gift wrap.

This was my challenge cake in 2013. Gold sugar lace pieces - handcut and airbrushed gold. Extra large gold sugar bow, purple, burgundy and red stripes. The bride handed me a piece of wrapping paper and asked that I make the cake look exactly like it. Had such a headache ...... but I smiled for a week in the afterglow. :-)
