I can not never get a even cake when I use a box cake mix. How can I measure out a even amount of cake mix with my 8 in cake pans, thanks.

Use a measuring cup to divide your batter by volume.

Use a scale to divide your batter by weight.

Either will allow you to get an equal amount of batter into each pan.

I weigh my pans & batter, especially if I'm baking 2 pans at the same time--that way they come out at the same time.
