AI have been putting off the CafeSafe box for a long time, this year for the ICES convention in KY I took my husband (needed a driver) he saw the CakeSafe box and went and ask Scott, one of the owners about it. That night in the hotel he asked me why I didn't have one... Of course I said "too expensive", he left it alone.... Saw the CakeSafe in the vendor area stopped looked at and continued shopping with the other vendors. When I got home my husband asked me again. When I got to the shop the first thing I looked at when I walk in the back door was the sheeter the most expensive thing in my shop! I would be a sad girl without my sheeter I can work without it but it makes my life easier... I also thought about my drivers, my brides and the stress we go through when a cake is messed up. Atlanta's traffic gets worse and worse each summer I couldn't afford to loose not one cake. So the price of a CakeSafe was no longer an issue. I had a couple of questions called Scott and Julie and called them up.

I save up to buy what I want, why not make another good investment in my business (tax write off too!). I ordered 2 sizes and let me tell you delivering that cake on a Friday afternoon in Atlanta holiday traffic was for the first time stress free! The next delivery with the cake safe it poured down rain and I looked like a wet cat but my cake was dry as a bone and the presentation was spot on! I've already put in orders for 2 more... My cake shop and reputation is very important it only takes one unhappy bride to mess it up. Most of us are selling the cakes why not put up a little each week to get what you need to make your job easier... You're worth it!

I want to say first that I would never object to someone buying one of these, but I don't understand the attitude that they are somehow necessary or vital to delivering cakes. To me the suggestion that most of us save for one these is hard to understand. The bottom line is that a properly stacked cake and proper driving gets the cake there just fine.

Sure in a car accident, the cake's going to be lost, but I'm not so worried about my reputation that people might judge me if I lost a cake in a car wreck. I doubt the cake safe would make it under those circumstances either. People always say, what if someone comes out in front of you and cuts you off - well, that's what leaving a wide berth is for.

Fine - love them to death, but they are not something I don't have because I don't consider myself worth it.

Absolutely!  They are the best!  I don't know what I would have done without mine.  At first, it was just my piece of mind that cake was in it, so I didn't stress out for sometimes an hour or an hour and a half to the venue, and then...well let's just say that in the last 3 years I owned and used the cake safe, it saved quite a few cakes. Rough roads, bumpy roads, curvy roads, steep hills, sudden stops to avoid accidents were not a problem for cake safe.  The doozies are when I have to drag the cakes up 3 flights of narrow stairs, where the only way is at 45 degree angle, and the cakes don't move.  It is truly the best investment I have made and everywhere I go, people comment on it.  Love it!!!

I've had my Cake Safe for two years now and, since most of my client base is in a big city about 150 miles away, I use it several times a month to transport cakes safely to their events! I have even transported a fully assembled 5 tier cake over 250 miles! The hosts were amazed when all I had to do was pull out the steel rod and plop on the topper and I was done and the cake was perfect!  In fact, we love the cake safe so much that, now that we are thinking of buying a new car, the fact that it can or cannot hold two cake safes in the back is part of our decision making and it a deal breaker if they won't fit! LOL! Best piece of cake equipment I have purchased.

ACake safe is the greatest thing around. I delivered a five tier cake to a venue that took thirty minutes to get to. Upon arrival the caterers were in awe asking where I had gotten such a thing. The cake was in perfect condition. Needless to say, I use it all the time. No more stress during delivery!

AI'm in love with Cake Safe!!! Two weeks ago I had to transport a 5- tiered wedding cake over 200 miles away in 98 degree heat. My husband was skeptical, but I knew after watching their video it would work. The cake was secure, and never moved over the roughest roads. It arrived safely with everyone saying how they have never seen such a beautiful way to transport a wedding cake. My added bonus was being able to tell my husband " I told you so!" Thank you Cake Safe!!!!!

I put off gettingh a Cake Safe for several years because my car was a sedan and did not believe that any of them would fit in to my car.   I WAS WRONG !!! Julie  easily put one in the front seat of my car-SOLD

My first delivery with the Cake Safe was 80 miles away AND the venue was in the woods down a dirt road.  NO PROBLEM.  Although I just got a CRV   I would never give up my Cake Safe.!  You can never know how at ease you will feel transporting your cakes.

If you don't have one   WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR !!!

I first bought one about a year and half ago!  I will tell you that I was very skeptical at first.  I had questions about how it worked, could I deliver alone using it and which model I would need.  I called and talked to Julie and she was VERY helpful!  She answered all my questions and soon I had a Cake Safe on the way for my growing business!

It was so easy to use!  I Can't tell you how much time this saves me! So much time in fact that I can now take on more cakes per week!!  No more transporting and stacking on the premise...even my repair kit has shrunken.  After using the first one, delivering cakes of all shapes and sizes perfectly in tact and without stress, I realized a second was in order! I now own two and am considering a third!

I no longer worry about keeping the cake level going up stairs or that the cake will slide during transport.  Short or tall, anyone can help me carry a wedding cake into a venue and they have!  Even my 13 year old daughter(who shares my love of cakes decorating) has helped me carry a cake to transport!! Thank you for saving my sanity and allowing me to do the business I love stress free!

Yes, we got one Cakesafe, and my hubby, who is the "cheaper" half (saying it kindly!) INSISTED we buy 2 more. So we now have 3. And use them almost every weekend. They have been a lifesaver and gotten me more business with venues that I can count because of both presentation and sanitation.

I love that I can have my entire cake done in studio and bring it to the delivery. We are in and out of there in no more than 15 minutes.

If it were between my sheeter and my cakesafes, I would return my sheeter in a heartbeat. Luckily I get to keep both!

Y'all are funny about being skeptical because I knew the second I saw it that I needed it, and I even studied the videos trying to think of a clever way to jury rig one, but my husband didn't come through on his part, helping me with pieces from his work..(He fabricates metal)

When I had the chance to get a "discount" cake safe (the floor model) at ICES, I hesitated a bit because it is still so expensive, but I bought it! I knew I had to have it that week, anyway.... I drove down a steep, windy road, then across the ferry, and up and down hill after hill, slamming on breaks and everything, and the cake made it perfectly! We recorded a video, but I don't want to post it because the video is crap indeed. But my husband and I were laughing and talking and we had the most stress free delivery yet, and there have been times I thought we would kill each other we were so worried about the cake NOT making it there in one piece! So, it saves cakes AND marriages!

I got my CakeSafe in Feb. 2012. Since then, I've used it for every stacked wedding cake I've had. Before I got it, I would be so stressed delivering a stacked wedding cake or either stack it at the location, which took more time at the location. Now, it's less stress when delivering my wedding cakes and it cuts my time down. I've been able to deliver a wedding cake 3 1/2 hours away with no problems. It's one of the greatest inventions for the wedding cake industry. Best money I ever spent!!!

AND families- we have to take our 6 year old on deliveries. Before CakeSafes, there was a LOT of hollering going on between me, the hubbs, and the (then) 3 year old.

Now she watches a movie, we discuss politics and the cake hangs out, safe and sound!

Hi,

Our delivery company basically built our Wedding Cake delivery service around the Cake Safe!

We are located in the Northern Va area and do a lot of cake deliveries around Va, Md and Washington DC. The cake safe allows us to get 4 boxes in our Transit connect vans and get around town without fear of the cake tipping or sliding. When we show up to the venue with the cake in the safe you can almost see the tension roll away from the wedding /event planner! Long trips are great too, turn the air up a lil in the back and your good.

Oh yeah, They just look cool which kinda of makes us look cool too!

I wanted to post my experience with CakeSafe.  For the first and maybe part of the second year of being in business my wife and I would transport cakes in parts or stacked with a dowel and hope for the best.  My wife some how found out about CakeSafe and asked me to look into it.

We deliver cakes to Malibu, California regularly and have to drive up and down steep mountains and hills.  After seeing the CakeSafe in action on their site I told my wife that we had to have it!  Of course I could see that sparkle in her eye every time she would look at a CakeSafe online.

We purchased our first one and were so happy with it.  It was absolutely awesome to see the expression on peoples faces from the venues and or party we were delivering to.  So many caterers told us that they had never seen CakeSafe before.  We ended up purchasing a couple more of the CakeSafes and will soon be purchasing some more because of our growth.

I personally enjoyed conversing with Scott and helping him to find a delivery location for when CakeSafe appeared on, " Shipping Wars."  Scott is a professional from start to finish and you really feel like family after talking with him.   I am amazed that we are the only bakery in our County that has the CakeSafes on hand.

If you think it is pricy, it's not.  It is well worth every dollar you pay for it.

When you want to deliver your cakes professionally, elegantly, and above everyone else....CakeSafe is the way to go.

Sincerely,

Mark Delgado

Like a kid waking up on Christmas Morning, hoping to find the gift of all gifts under the tree;  a Red Ryder BB Gun, this mirrored me waiting for my Cake Safe to arrive in the mail :)

Being fairly new at decorating wedding cakes 3 years ago, I was nervous about stacking individual tiers at the venue, most likely having to do so in front of a gathering of people, adding to my anxiety.  I searched the internet over, looking for a way to stack and finish building my cakes in the comfort of my own home, with all of my supplies right at my fingertips, and delivering them successfully.  I couldn't believe my good fortune when I stumbled across Cake Safe!

I quickly read the information provided and watched their video, and after a few more questions answered by Scott, I knew I HAD TO HAVE ONE!!  Besides, he totally got my analogy of the Red Ryder BB GUN and was nice enough to extend the holiday discount by a few days for me after I had missed the deadline.

I laughed at some of the testimonials on the Cake Safe website, revealing that decorators receive more comments about the Cake Safe on deliveries than the cake itself, and let me tell you that is no joke!  There has not been one delivery since using the Cake Safe, where people haven't said, "Wow, that box is so cool!", or "I've never seen anyone else using this around here, what great insurance to know the cake is safe during traveling".  I can't tell you how confident I am in this product, and while going over the wedding cake contracts with my customers, I am always proudly showing off my Cake Safe to ease any delivery anxiety they may have in wondering how such a large cake will arrive in one piece.  It makes my business look VERY professional, to my customers and other wedding vendors alike.

Now that my confidence level has increased, and designing wedding cakes has become second-nature to me, providing me with a very active business and busy wedding season schedule with up to 4 weddings a weekend (okay, I don't normally try to torture myself like this, but next weekend I am!  Serenity Now!! :)), I rely on my Cake Safe more than ever.  To keep up with my demand, I definitely see a second Cake Safe in my future.  I can't tell you the unease I feel on those few occasions where it wasn't convenient to run back home and reload another wedding cake for delivery on the same day, and I've held my breath as one cake (even a small three-tiered), is held with a long wooden center dowel, and the other is tucked away soundly in the Cake Safe.  My anxiety is through the roof and I can't wait to just get that center-doweled cake out of my car!

The Cake Safe has never failed me, and living in Western Massachusetts, traveling into the Berkshires, often over dirt roads, steep inclines, and even old timers stopping short in front of us, causing us to slam on our brakes, as they decide last minute to pull over on the side of the road to take in a local tag sale, it has never faltered.  We even deliver hours away to a beautiful vineyard in VT, over hill over dale, and my baby is safe and secure.

Juli and Scott are amazing people. I love their story how the Cake Safe began, as we all can relate, and they are true life-savers for me.

Thank you for providing me with MY Red Ryder BB Gun, Scott and Juli!!!  Forever indebted to you both!!!

PS~if the honey calls this Christmas....I'd love the Cake Safe Airbrush Booth.  This would be the equivalent to the Barbie 5-Story Townhouse with working elevator to me!!

Happy Caking!

I can't begin to tell you how much CakeSafe has SAVED OUR BAKED BACON!!

MMMMMMMMMMonstrosities....that's what they are...always affordable and ridiculously delicious, our creations are often licks of lusciousness that leave nothing lacking...LIKE:

14" bottom layers of triple chunk chocolate cake, filled with heavy, thick, yummy ganache...

12" mid layer of almond cake filled with handmade, strained, seedless blackberry jelly...

10" mid layer of sweet white vanilla bean cake, oozing with my grandmother's rendition of lemon curd...

8" top layer of light, airy, and not-too-heavy red velvet cake, stuffed with whipped cream cheese...

Such delicacies simply cannot be transported in just any old box or bag...and NEVER AGAIN will we drive anywhere with the perfect confection perched precariously on our lap! During the few months that we delivered cakes that way, I grew an ulcer and a full head of grey hair!

But then,..we discovered CakeSafe, and my tummy and tresses trouble was over.  After Scott helped us make a decision on how big to go, we took the plunge and ordered!  We can honestly tell you that we have NEVER, EVER regretted spending one single penny on this investment!

The CakeSafe works EXACTLY as described.  Easy, breezy, lemon squeezy. You can take THAT to the bank, along with the profits you will enjoy from using this product.  Here are just two ways that my investment in CakeSafe has put money in my pocket:

1.  This system is a MAJOR selling point during cake consultations.  Our customers LOVE having cake delivered in an aesthetically pleasing, sanitary and professional manner.  And boy, do we look COOL carrying that box into the venue...I'm telling you...caterers are jealous.

2. NO refunds to customers for  transportation "glitch/disaster/OOPS" are ever necessary!  We don't even have to THINK about that anymore, and boy, does THAT bring relief!

More black ink on our bottom line leaves us more time and resources to think up our next culinary masterpiece and chew the fat with potential clients...and yes, it probably DOES taste a lot like bacon!

BUY YOUR CAKESAFE.  You know you want to.

ACake safe saved my life!

When I started decorating 5 years ago, I would always hold the cakes on my lap for delivery. It made me so anxious, I would feel like I was having heart palpitations. Every little bump every little curve, was another sweat bead running down my forehead and a plus one for my blood pressure.

3 years ago I had to deliver an 8 tier master piece with goji berry butter cream. It wouldn't fit into my lap and then into the car so we ended up removing my seat.

Of course the wedding venue was 4 hours away and across at least six rail roads and two mountains. On the way there, we got stuck behind a bus. It seemed like this bus was picking up every guest at the wedding as it was going exactly where we were.

All of the sudden the bus stopped and I fainted and became unresponsive. Out of nowhere another baker with a delivery came by and just happened to have a cake safe. The cake safe performed cpr and resuscitated me. It was a cake miracle!

That's how cake safe saved my life!

Thanks cake safe!

When my daughter and I offered to make a cake for a friend's large wedding, I immediately started worrying about how to deliver it. I'd made a smaller wedding cake years ago, and I ended up decorating it at the venue.

This time, I bought the cake safe. I reasoned that we'll be making more cakes, and we won't have to worry about delivery.

The concept is brilliant and it worked perfectly. Hundreds of dollars of ingredients and dozens of hours of our time were protected. It stores flat, so it's now out of the way and ready for the next cake.

I highly recommend this product.

Love mine!  I live in northern Maine so needless to say I drive A LOT to deliver and the roads are not always the best, and sometimes the delivery route brings me down dirt roads covered with potholes!  I have yet to have any mishaps and it is a huge relief to not have to worry so much about delivering the cake.  The longest transport to date was a monster 5 tier cake delivered four hours away.....not a single flaw when I delivered :)

I wouldn't even consider delivering a wedding cake without my CakeSafe!  It keeps cake layers from shifting during transport and also keeps the cake clean.  And forget the worry about delivering in rainy weather, I've even delivered during a hurricane with no problem!  The wait staff at wedding venues have often commented about the CakeSafe, and I've heard people say "Why doesn't everyone have one of those?"!  This is a great product and totally worth the investment!
