Has anyone seen this cake on ebay?

I feel so sorry for the bride. I ran across this and she posted it more as a statement obviously not to really try and resell..

I can't say I thought her original design was all that great, not my style but the one she ended up with is pitiful...

This is dreadful but I have to admit I laughed. I'm a novice at cake decorating so I can't say I'd do a perfect job. But I would never attempt to sell this.

OMG!!! How mortifiying as a bride to get THAT cake on your wedding day?? It reminds me of death. I didn't even know it was supposed to be tires until I looked at the original design picture. I feel so sorry for her. I truly hope she got all of her money back!!!

Did you read the small print?

Condition: Used : Split the cost with friends
Seller Notes:

A few defects due to maker being unskilled. Uncut, along with large amount of awful cupcakes for free. No topper or decoration. Unusual design. Very heavy.

But the bits I really loved:

Shipping:  May not ship to Australia
       and
Please note this cake will be inedible, therefore I do not take any personal responsibility if any part is eaten by the buyer.

Wow, what an awful surprise for the bridal couple!  They may laugh about it in the future, but for now, I sure hope they get a full refund. Absolutely hideous cake!

Tires for a wedding cake was weird enough but who would leave that awful grey mess for a bride on her wedding day!

Did you see there are 59,000 views so far? That is funny!

I was just going to post the same thing and yes the maker is on that thread.. maybe she should post her side of the story as she sounded very indignant against the bride

How do you know the baker is on that thread? When did she sound indignat? Did they interview her for the story??

If any bride showed me a picture of a cake that looked like a stack of tires and said "can you recreate this?" I would say "Yes I could recreate that ... but I won't!"  Awful cake - both of them.
