Does this like somewhat like a frog??

I am starting to dabble in 3D toppers and here is my first "frog". Does it look remotely like a frog to you??

Remotely ;-) Eyes should be on top and tongue a bit shorter and coming from the middle. Arms a bit more centered, maybe? Mouth wider.

Beginners, be sure to parrot advice and get your post count up as fast as you can. After all, it's not what you know, it's what people THINK you know.

I agree. I can tell it is a frog but if the eyes were higher it would really make a huge difference.

I agree with the others,You are off to a good start:)

Besides putting the eyes higher, make balls of green & put the eyes on them to make them 'bulge' out.

The shape of his head is a bit off. More oval & squatty. Always helps me to bring up some image.

It's never "just cake!"

You may get a cake for $way to little but you won't get this cake!

It certainly is looking more "froggy". I would be inclined to make the hind legs thicker at the thighs as that is where his power is located. And I agree with delicious desserts. His head could use a little :"squatifying" and his cheeks a little more pronounced. All in all, you're getting there. Looking at a picture is the key, but then an artist always has his own interpretation.

Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby.

Much better. Great job!

I would say make the arms skinnier and the legs bulkier and squish the head a bit. Make mouth wider.

You are really good at taking direction and criticism. Go you!
Hey everybody! Check out google.com ! This is clearly an attempt to direct traffic onto that site and away from cake central. Because everyone knows you can only have one browser open!
