DIY Kopykake, going to try it out.

Hello everybody, I recently found a tutorial on how to make your own Kopykake. The idea is roughly the same, to project an image onto your cookie and trace over it with icing. I am working on making one myself, since I don't have the funds for a real Kopykake. icon_sad.gif Based on the tutorial, it seems to work very well. The only difference is you won't be able to change the size of the projected image as easily as with a real Kopykake. But for the difference in price, it's fine with me. icon_biggrin.gif Below is the link that shows you how to make the projector. icon_smile.gif

I currently have a kopykake. However, prior to the purchase I did a lot of royal icing transfer for detailed images.

Just wondering if anyone has made one and has used it yet?

This technique works perfectly.  I tried it on a princess cookie and the result was awesome. Thanks to the video from Montreal Confections.
