Wedding cake help

Thread Starter

I am doing my first wedding cake and not really sure how many layers per tier. I have a 14", 10" and a 6". What is the best way to make it look good. They are square pans.

I prefer 4" layers. I bake 2-2" cakes for each tier. I cut each in half & fill. My tiers are about 4 1/4-4 1/2" tall

It's never "just cake!"

You may get a cake for $way to little but you won't get this cake!
