Wilton 1M, 1B and 2D nozzles

Can anyone tell me the differences of those nozzles? I have been searching it for 2 days and couldnt find comprehensive info icon_sad.gif

1B and 2D are very similar, both closed star tips, the 1B is slightly bigger, the 1M is an open star.

Easier to just show pictures than try and explain it :)

Really the only difference is the tightness of the star, 1B and 2D will give you more frill if you're piping a swirl onto a cupcake.

I have the 1M and 2D.  I have found that they look very similar, but to me the 2D uses less icing.  Still plenty to eat and enjoy, but it goes farther when piping.

That would be a 1M
