.....all the time that you should have spent practicing your hobby you instead spent on CC!
 

...every shop you go into has you thinking about how to use the items sold there as cake decorating tools/inspiration.

.......when you are doing something at your day job and you do something wrong and the boss tells you to go back to looking at cakes.

You spend your work hours here learning instead of actually doing what you get paid for....

... drawing your next cake in math class

...practicing your gumpaste flowers in french class with paper

You take pictures of wrapping paper / gift bags at Target to use as inspiration for colors and patterns for cakes. 
 

I took photos of flowers at the local natural history museum on a family day out the other week for the sole purpose of making replicas in gumpaste sometime. 

... Every piece of art that you see has your wheels turning on how you can translate that into cake!

AND...

... when your birthday calendar reminds of you a friend or family's upcoming birthday, you write in a "start baking" date a couple days before into your diary

...when you're at the zoo and taking pictures of animals at every angle so you can get ideas of how to sculpt them.
 

Constantly gazing at the ornamental detail on the wrought iron fireplace in the sitting room, and thinking out loud, what a lovely pattern this could be - perhaps for a design idea, around the side of my next cake!!!
