I'm looking for 12 x 12 x 8 or 10" tall cake boxes, my decorations tend to be taller than the norm 6" box, so I prop the lid in the open position.   Does anyone have suggestions about where to get that size?

Thank you!

Hi.  I used packing boxes that I get at Walmart for about $0.63 or $1.20 a box.  They come in 10x10x24 or 12x12x24 or 14x14x24.  I believe they even have 18x18!  I tape the bottom shut and then cut one of the front panels sides and this way I can slide my cake in and then tape it shut after putting the cake in.  Does this make sense?

This is how I cut it and insert my cake.  The panel that has the sides cut can be taped up again for delivery.

By the way, I just stopped at Walmart to fill up on boxes and they were $0.68 a piece!  I bought nine of the 12x12 and five of the 14x14!!

I used this box and I made it for like 3.50.  Those tiered cake boxes you order off of sites are very expensive.  However I do love Pam's Idea

AI've just cut small strips of card, folded them in half and stuck to the inside corners of the box to raise the lid. Seems to work well and is really cheap to do. You can get box inserts but they do shrink the internal size of the box and I found it pulled the ribbon from the board :-(
