ok, so I just started working at a very neglected bake shop. I have been cleaning it up and trying to fix things when I came across a container of either Meringue powder or creme a vit..... any ideas on how to test what it is LOL

lol yea I think I am just going to toss it hahaha, I dont want to risk my life!

 

Creme a vit is to make custard.

Meringue powedr has a very distinct smell, so if it doesn't smell like it, just throw it away since there is no telling what all it is not ;-)

 

And Anna means "full of Grace" and Grace is my middle name, as well!

I would rather make 1 cake for $150, than 3 for $50 each.

The person who works for nothing will always have plenty to do!

There is a well known saying across the globe regards to Food Safety in the food industry and ALSO in the home "IF IN DOUBT THROW IT OUT!!!

If it is not labeled or dated throw it out... Glad someone is there to clean up that bakery, kudos to you!!

We have 2 daughters - our firstborn is Grace, and the other is Anna!
