I know a lady who cuts up used milo tins to make cutters.

Milo is a chocolaty drink that we have in Australia.  It comes in a metal tin.  She cuts the tin into strips and then bends it to the shape she wants.  I presume the metal is a good thickness as she has no interest in any other sort of tin.

Do you have trouble with them bending out of shape when cutting because the metal is so thin?

Bakencake, Thanks for the link for the cutters made with soda cans.  Can you get more than one use out of these?  Are they sturdy enough to be washed and kept for future use?  Also did you cut yourself at all?  How long did it take you to make each cutter?  Thanks again.  P.S. Where are you in NY?  I am on Long Island.

You can also look for sales on large, simple cutters and re-bend them into the shapes you need.
