Please please help!!! I have a wedding cake for next weekend. They want upside down champagne glasses between 3 tiers. HOW do I support the glasses without them sinking into the cakes. I know to put dowels but what about the tops of the cakes. I thought of cake boards but wouldn't it look bulky with buttercream>?? Any suggestions please !!!

Why do the glasses have to be upside down? It is very possible to do this with the glasses right side up.
