Grandma-to-be has changed her mind...again. Now she wants a Moses basket cake, but her numbers have dropped, too. Now she wants the cake to feed 40 instead of the 75 she requested. The original plan was for a buggy.
How would you make a Moses basket? 9 x13 x 3 layers oval shaped or smaller or trim rectangles? Would you hollow the top layers to give the impression of depth?

The oval pans sound great to me. You could trim to round the bottom and top edge. This sounds like a fun cake to make. Good luck!
