My daughter was very happy with this cake. I tried to do a frozen buttercream transfer for the graduate, but it didn't turn out so well. I'll keep practicing!
I messed up on these. I used jumbo muffin tins to make the cakes, but they were so big, you couldn't see the cookie tea saucers they were sitting on. Next time I'll use regular size cupcakes. Strawberry cake with buttercream on Penny's sugar cookies. The "tea" is strawberry SMBC.
Made for my daughter's 5th birthday. 3 layer 9 inch strawberry cake with 1/2 sports ball pan on top. Spout and handle are 50/50 gumpaste fondant mix brushed with luster dust.

I think that these could be cute in the hands of a capable decorator. Maybe adding a duckie or something would help - and of course a steadier hand.

This is the cake I made for my daughter's 3rd birthday (my first cake!). I used a heart shaped pan for the wings and 5 cupcakes for the body. Buttercream dream over white almond sour cream cake. Everyone loved it! I know I have a lot to learn, but I was pretty happy with it. Thanks to everyone who answered my crazy questions on the forum! You guys are great.
