Help a little girl I know has dairy allergy and wheat allergy apparently every year her birthday cake is wizzed away from her and given to all her guests but her. Horrendous therefore I am on a mission to find the ideal cake for her especially and her guests. HELP PLEASE. Scratch Cakes only need apply.

Have you checked the recipe section of this site? Thought I saw some dairy-free stuff, they might have something wheat free too.

You could use all-purpose wheat free flour, and egg whites to hold the recipe together.

I'm not sure about the allergens in egg whites, but I don't think there are any.

Wheatfree.org has some great ones. Hope this helps.

LeeAnn dark, pure chocolate is dairy-free (Bournville for example). I'm pretty sure that most flourless chocolate cakes use cocoa powder anyway, which is also gluten & dairy free. I'd do a search on the web for vegan cake recipes (sure to be dairy free) and use gluten-free flour in place of any normal flour in the recipe. HTH!

I posted a chocolate cake in the recipe section. There is no dairy, or egg in it. It uses cocoa powder. It might work for the little girl

"I make no claim to this recipe, I've never made it, but it's the only one I can find without everything you mentioned, and also has no honey...Maybe it will at least give you a starting place...Good luck!
WHEATLESS, EGGLESS, BUTTERLESS, MILKLESS, SUGARLESS CAKE

1 cup corn syrup

2 cups water

2 cups raisins

2 tablespoons fat

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1½ cups fine cornmeal, 2 cups rye flour; or, 3½ cups whole wheat flour

1½ teaspoons baking powder, or, ½ teaspoon soda

Cook corn syrup, water, raisins, fat, salt and spices slowly 15 minutes. When cool, add flour, soda or baking powder, thoroughly blended. Bake in slow oven 1 hour. The longer this cake is kept, the better the texture and flavor. This recipe is sufficient to fill one medium-sized bread pan.

Thanks very much, problem solved I bought a book through amazon and received it today from the States. It has many many receipes/ have just been out to buy ingredients shall give it a go Wednesday but thanks anyhow....
