Made this for a friend's daughter who is a HUGE Twilight fan. This was kind of a mixed-media project. The chess pieces and board are chocolate, as are the letters. The ribbon and flower are fondant, and the apple is a cake ball covered in fondant. Because I used whipped cream icing on this cake I had to mount the fondant pieces on chocolate bases. The girl LOVED it, and was practically speechless when she saw it...that is the best part!!!
