New York Landmark Cake
A cake for a New York lover turning 50. It is based on the beautiful London landmark cake by Rachelle's, but I added more landmarks and more color by request. Each piece is handcut from gumpaste, then the landmark is drawn on with non-toxic pen. Customer was advised to remove landmarks before eating.

Superhero Cake
A superhero cake for a four year old. I used Evil Cake Genius stencils for the skyline and the 'BAM' 'POW' and 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' cut outs. The top tier is decorated with superhero edible images, with some characters cut out and mounted on fondant so they appear to be flying out of the pages of a comic book. At least that was my plan. The 3D characters are obviously toys.

Call Of Duty Black Ops Iii Cake
Call of Duty cake for an 11 year old. The Call of Duty letters and skull were cut from the fondant, the Black Ops letters were cut from a sugar sheet using the Silhouette Cameo. I used a mold for the bullets, but the hand grenades were handmade, along with the barbed wire.

Cake Masters Magazine Feature Punk Cake
Thrilled to be asked to take part in Cake Masters Magazine Fashion Through The Decades feature! My cake is a tribute to the 70s and, being an English girl, that meant punk! But punk is also about being anti-establishment, so while I wanted to include the iconic fashion elements from the decade - tartan, zips, studs, leather, fishnets, chains and pins - I also wanted to make a traditional 'pretty' tiered cake, so I topped it off with a wafer paper flower. But the paper is printed with images and slogans from punk albums of the era!

Movie Popcorn Cake
A double barrel popcorn bucket for a little girl celebrating her TV acting debut. The popcorn is real (having once spent all day making it from fondant, I vowed never again). The clapperboard is fondant covered with an edible image and written on in non-toxic chalk. I put little lights in the cake, so Maddy could see her name in lights. I also added a couple of sparklers for good measure.
