My Dad's 58Th Birthday Cake; My Second Cake Ever
I made this cake for my dad's birthday. This is my second cake ever and since I'm still new here, all the inspiration I got was from here at Cake Central so thank you for the inspiration! Any honest critique would be wonderful. Bottom layer is mud cake with cookies and cream filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. Second layer is Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese filling and frosting and 3rd layer is Italian Cream Cake with Cream Cheese Filling and Frosting.
Good job. What's the story behind the cow, pig, etc.
Thanks LisaMae. He lived on a farm when he was little and always told us how he had to get up every morning and milk the cows and feed the pigs. The car on top is an Austin Martin (his dream car) and then the hawk is his high school mascot. There is also a little mustang that I molded on the front which was his first car but the picture didn't come out very well. Also the bushes are all green but for some reason there was a reflection so some of them look like they have brown on them. It's not the...
