Beach Theme Bridal Shower Cake
Made this cake for a client who is having a bridal shower for their granddaughter. Can you guess where they are getting married? LOL. White cake with white icing and used piping gel for the ocean. Fondant for the sea shells. Got the idea from Silverc who was gracious enough to give me a couple of tips. Thanks Silverc!!
How do you get the names in the sand to stay? I absolutely love it!!!
I am giving a bridal shower for my future daughter in law. They are having a destination beach wedding, and this cake is perfect. Would you please tell me what you used for the "sand"? Thanks!
Hello Artzeemom......I made this cake years ago. I haven't decorated cakes in a while, but I think I uaed plain graham crackers. You will need to put them on a blender or or Nutra Bullet to grind the crackers up very fine. I hope this helps you. Please let me see your finished cake when your done.
