This wedding cake was for a friend of mine from college. It is the biggest cake I have ever made! This thing fed over 200 people--and fought me all the way. Everything that could have gone wrong-seemed to. I had to mask lots of fondant cracks since the 2 hour car drive did a little trauma to it. I think it turned out alright in the end, though! She wanted a cake with lots of color and a tree on it since they got engaged under a big tree. The bottom on third tier are chocolate and the top and second are pumpkin spice pound cake--all with creamcheese filling. The tree is chocolate buttercream and the leaves are royal icing.
