Thank you! :) I used tip 2D, I think this tip makes prettier "rosettes" than tip 1M, but either will do the job.

No, the gems are not edible. You can buy them at most craft stores. I have used the edible isomalt gems before, but they never have that sparkle like the non-edible ones do.
