without it burning. Long story, but brand new double ovens haven't worked since I bought them last year. New ones are supposedly on backorder. I just really needed to vent icon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gif New house, new appliances, and 2 of 4 are being replaced and the other two are not working right either. thumbsdown.gif

What brand are these? That stinks, and maybe literally! icon_razz.gif Sorry bad joke. :]

I hope they get them fixed or new ones in soon!

I have an amazing apple pie and pumpkin pie recipe for the crockpot. I actually prefer them over oven baked now. Also I went 3 yrs w/o an oven. So I learned to be creative. I made brownies~cookies on the grill.

Do you have a thermometer in that oven? Maybe, until the new one arrives you can adjust the temp down according to what the thermometer reads.

kansaslaura - the oven at 350 deg ranges in actual temperature from 320-410 deg in 8 minutes.
JaeRodriguez - yes really stinks! Pretty bad when 5 year olds won't eat cookies you make. They are JennAir double ovens. We have 5 new appliances, and 4 do not work right. icon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gif
Thanks JanH and amarilloyankee for the recipes, I will have to keep them until everything gets fixed. icon_biggrin.gif

Aw, I'm sorry. If it makes you feel better, sometimes five year olds wont eat the cookies I bake in my oven, and it's NOT broken! icon_wink.gif Hehe.

I hope you get the new ones soon, otherwise you could try some drop cookies? Not sure if they are in JanH's link, but I have a Chocolate Oatmeal Peanut Butter Drop Cookie, and a Haystack (or Chinese Chew) cookie that are no bake! Let me know if you'd like the link! (You may want to PM me, I am not having much luck getting emails that my post has a response!)
