I've been baking for years for all the family parties but had never tried my hand at decorating. Yes, I used chocolate shavings, fresh fruit etc but that was the extent of my decorating. After leaving my sales job (ughh still have nightmares), I had a lot of time on my hands. My daughter decided to give me a certificate for classes at Michael's for mother's day 2011. That was it. Since then, I have gone thru online tutorials learning as much as I can.This is now what I do for fun.; With a huge family, there is always a birthday around the corner.; They get free cake and I get to practice.; It's a win win. |
