Two years ago I was working for a fortune 500 company in a comfy job I'd held for over 10 years. Then I made a cake for my son's third birthday. And that was it. I was hooked. No, not hooked, OBSESSED! I posted the cake on facebook and soon was making cakes for friends, then friends of friends, then people I didn't even know started asking me to do cakes for them. 8 months after I made my first cake I signed the lease to my new bakery, the Blue Sheep Bake Shop. Today we are a retail cupcake shop that specializes in custom cakes. In a short time we've made ALOT of cakes including a 500 serving cake that was a replica building for Princeton University, as well as cakes for reality shows "Real Housewives of New Jersey" and "Jerseylicious". We've been featured on many blogs and in a bridal magazine.This is the dream I never had, come true - thank god and my family for supporting me. I love what I do! |
