All About Me	Hello! My name is Christie Vega Apodaca and I am a cake designer and decorator. I began Cake Couture from a hobby turned small business. My background in cake decorating dates back to age 12 when I took an adult school class in my hometown of Davis California. Growing up with interests in cake decorating and fashion design, I continued to build my talents with family and friend events as I completed a degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering at the University of California at Davis. As a professional, I enjoyed my years in the Engineering and business industries, and I am currently growing Cake Couture as I prepare to join the University of California Davis Graduate School of Management.
