My name is Marsha Moreland and I call myself the CaKe ViXen.Why and how I started making CaKes? When I was a child helping my grandmother in the kitchen. She took cake classes and then would come home and teach me what she had learned in class. I think I was about 8 or 9 years old at the time. Since then I have always loved to bake and decorate cakes. Having 3 children has made it easy for me to keep making cakes for birthdays, school functions, holiday gatherings or just for fun. A few years back my children gave me the gift of cake classes for mother's day. So I could polish up on all the new techniques and also have certificate of merits from Wilton method of cake decorating. I really love making cakes of all kind and enjoy the challenge with every custom cake I make. As for the name CaKe ViXen I just wanted to be different and unique like my cakes. |
