All About Me	I started cake decorating in 2010 after visiting my friends family for Christmas and being given a Christmas cake to decorate.  It is tradition in my freind's family that all members decorate their own cake and take it home with them.  That year I ended up taking over and decorating everyones cakes.. I had officially caught the cake decorating bug!!Strawberry Lane Cake Company was born soon after due to popular demand from friends and family.  The street I live on in the UK is called Strawberry Lane which I thought would be perfect for a cake company.  The company consists of just me in my kitchen and converted 2nd bedroom but I hope to develop it over time once I reduce the hours I work in my full time day job.Websites such as Cake Central are fantastic to meet other cake decorating enthusiasts who never become tired of talking about cakes and the art of cake decorating.  The talent on this website is extrodinary and I hope to provide inspiration to others as they do for me.
