I bake and decorate while my kids are sleeping. I'm definitely not a professional; if anything, I'm a mildly talented but passionate amateur. I have a firm No-fondant policy, and I bake 100% from scratch. Not because I'm a snoot, I just think sifting, grating, measuring, straining, and such are soothing. Grandma-ish? Yeah. But soothing nonetheless. =] |
