I am Bobie, an IT Specialist by profession and still enjoys my career. In 2010, I took a cake decorating class at a local craft store to learn the basics of creating beautiful cakes (a very basic knowledge), mainly because I wanted to know how to make birthday cakes for my beautiful daughter. Little did I know that I will be hooked on this new found craft, I discovered a passion for making beautiful cakes. I LOVE IT! I am a self-taught cake artist/hobbyist. I read a lot of cake decorating books, food/cake blogs and cake magazines. I have always enjoyed Art from an early age. My earliest memory of this is doodling on a piece of paper, painting, drawing and sketching. I can remember spending most of my childhood just drawing, making paper dolls and being inspired to make and design anything and everything! This love of Art has stayed with me and developed and grown. I am very passionate about arts and crafts. I paired my love for baking with arts to create delicious works of art - custom designed cakes that taste as good as they look. From there, I started making custom cakes for family and friends and friends of friends. I just love seeing the look and the smile on people’s faces when they see the cake I made for them. Most of all, I love seeing my daughter's happiness when she sees her birthday cake every year.
