I am an artist who occasionally makes fancy cakes, mostly for charity fundraisers. Most of my cakes generate about $1,000 each and thus it allows me to donate a significant amount to charitable organizations by making four or five cakes a year. I find that working with fondant is somewhat akin to working with clay, although they have quite different properties. I am an amateur cake maker and enjoy this site as I have much to learn. |
