I fell in love wih cake decorating when I first went to a cake show in Connecticut with a friend. The cakes were unbelievable! There was one I still remember to this day. So I started cake decorating when I was 20, but stopped because I thought my cakes weren't good enough to be charging people for them! What a mistake. I picked it up again 6 years ago and I just keep on learning. Love, love love, the internet!! You can learn almost anything on the internet! I now have my own shop (Eden's Gate Cakes). Find me on the web. I went to art school and worked as a graphic artist, Technical Illustrator for the G.E., and as a sculptor for a small company.It's great to use all of these skills in cake decorating and bring all of that into my cakes.
