All About Me	Passionate Cake Decorator Ever since my early childhood I have had a love for cake and cookie decorating, a tradition passed down from my mother. She always made elaborate cakes for our birthdays, and our annual holiday cookie decorating party is a tradition we maintain to this day. I continued to work on my decorating skills and in 2004 received my Advanced Certification from the Wilton School of Cake Decorating. These days I am the one who arrives at every family event with a cake in hand, whether it was asked for or not! Founder of Cake Central In 2004 I founded CakeCentral.com as a place to hang out with my cake buddies, obviously having no idea how big it would eventually become. Turns out there are a lot more cake fanatics out there than anyone would have guessed. Cake Central now has over 350,000 members from all around the world asking questions, sharing ideas, and providing encouragement and support to each other. I am so proud to have provided a place for so many wonderful people to share our passion and our personal lives. This community is an amazing group of people and it is such a privilege to be a part of it. Industry Consultant Cake Central has allowed me to keep a bead on the pulse of the cake industry, identifying trends and spotting things that need to be improved upon. It has also allowed me the opportunity to network with a wide range of talented cake decorators, product manufacturers, event promoters and television producers. This wide ranging exposure has led to my involvement in a great many projects in the cake industry. I have consulted on casting for numerous cake related television shows seen on Food Network, Bravo, TLC and WeTV. I have worked with multiple manufacturers on new product development, and have helped to promote several cake shows, classes and events. Looking to the Future I think the cake industry is just beginning to blossom, and I am so excited that I am in a position to be involved in so much of what the future of this industry can become. I look forward to expanding on the relationships I have with all the amazing people in this industry and canât wait to see what we can accomplish together.
