This is a 6" round caramel cake with bavarian cream filling. It is covered with Michelle Foster's Fondant. Calla Lilies are made from gumpaste. This actually got mailed from OK to WI, and my sister said it made it safe and sound, only a minor problem that she fixed in seconds!! :)

Graduation cake for the Deaf kids I work with. The hand is rice Krispes and candy clay (modeling chocolate). The rest is fondant covered chocolate cake with ganache filling.

My librarians have fun teasing me about bringing them some goodies to practice on since I am always checking out food/baking/cook books. I decided to take some time and surprise them with some fun cookies to thank them for working so hard in our community--they really are a great bunch of people! NFSC w/Toba's Glace.

this was fun, gumpaste tatty teddy with gift tag and gumpaste key for a 21st Birthday. cake is 10 inch chocolate and chocolate bc, fondant covered. im now in love with this turquoise colour. first time making it but will be using it a lot more now!

NFSC's with Antonio74's RI. My son is about to transition from Early Intervention to Preschool and this is the last week with his Speech Therapist, OT, PT and toddler group. I wanted to make them a little something to thank them for working with my son.

A thank you cake for the physical therapy center that helped me out with a TMJ problem I was having. They were so good to me, I wanted to do a little something for all the folks there. I love the borders and designs of London Cakes - this is a totally a knock-off of their standard cake designs (though not nearly as good). It was yummy though - Macsmom's orange dreamsicle cake with Grand Marnier swiss meringue buttercream. Delicious!!

Marble Box Cake: 2 layers of the vanilla mix (split mix into even portions) 1 layer chocolate. Wiltons PB Buttercream. Ganache & PB Buttercream filling. Fondant covered. NO Board used; cake left on carrying case.

9x13" French vanilla/milk chocolate cake, strawberry filling, French vanilla BC, Satin Ice chocolate fondant, sunglasses/eye chart/letters fondant. Gold and fuschia lustre dust for lenses. Made as a thank you for two friends who are eye drs and who gave us a deal on some sunglasses. Chocolate fondant was darker than I'd thought so sunglasses don't show up as well on camera as in person. Thanks for looking!

To mark my DD's last day of daycare, I had her write a letter to her teachers and draw a picture I then attemped to copy it on to the cake.
The cake was chocolate with M&M fondant.

Based on the book Guess How Much I Love You, inspired by a cake by BrendansMum here on CC. Chocolate WASC cake iced and filled with dark chocolate ganache, covered in fondant. Fondant decorations except for the gumpaste moon (pearl dusted), gumpaste Nutbrown Hare (handpainted - yay!), and gumpaste scroll plaque (written with edible marker).

This was a fun cake to do but sort of complicated because it was for a customer's BROTHER who is a total fan of this show and the famous phrase she says "HOW YOU DOIN'?" The show's set is very girly but the customer knew this and was ok with a pink cake for her bro! lol. Replicated designs off the show's set including the cheetah print floor, the door panels she walks out of & the pink quilted walls. The disco ball is all over the show's website as well so it had to be thrown in there! They all loved it & had a blast poking fun at their brother! TFL =)

Strawberry cake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting. Piped the strawberries and used yellow jimmies for the seeds. Made this for my parents, who offered to watch my toddler while I took my decorating class :)
