I created him using the stand-up Winnie the Pooh cake pan, all decoration is BC. His staff is a wooden skewer colored with food coloring, and his ears are BC decorated cardboard. You can't see his hair too good in this pic, but I used a #1 tip & did individual strands, which hang down instead of clinging to his head. My first Yoda attempt, he was a lot of fun. The message reads, "To you, happy birthday Gus" =)

I made this for my son's 10th birthday. I used a hard candy recipe to make the light saber. The rest of the cake is iced with buttercream.

An Ewok, Yoda, and R2D2 mini cakes for my triplets' 12th birthday. Yoda is covered in fondant, the others are buttercream icings. I used the mini standup teddybear pan, cupcakes, and Yoda's head is a ball of rice crispy treats with parts of plastic forks holding his ears in place. The kids loved them.

I was asked by a friend to do a Star Wars cake of my choosing so had a look through some cakes on here and thought I would give Yoda a go. I got some great inspiration from some fab cakes on this site and this was finished result. Surprisingly quick to do but very effective to look at!

This one was fun but not easy! The body was made from 4-6" round cakes stacked on top of each other and carved on top to look like shoulders. The Head and Ears were made from Rice Krispy Treats with fondant pieces for the cheeks and eye brows then the whole thing was covered in fondant and then accented with more fondant. The body was iced with butter cream and then covered in fondant as well. Arm hands and feet were also fondant.

This was my first Yoda cake. I used lots of mmf. I made a layer of mmf to get the wrinkles and details I wanted and then laid another layer of mmf on top of that and smoothed over all the details. The ears are made of rice crispie treats and covered in mmf and stuck in the side of the cake using bamboo skewers. This cake got sooo many compliments and was too funny to look at!

This cake was my first attempt at Yoda for a 7 year old child's birthday party. I sculpted the head from RKT and covered it with gum paste and shaped it. The body consists of a 3 tier stacked cake vanilla w/fruit punch bc.It is frosted out in Vanilla bc the robe and hands are fondant. The lightsaber hilt was sculpted gum paste, I added glow sticks inside the green plastic tube for special effect. It stood a little better than 2 feet tall when complete.I made background on PS to give it a cute bkgrnd.TFL:)

This is a cake that I made for a little star wars fan turning 7! All figurines are made of gumpaste. It was pretty challenging making them and I am sort of satisfied by the way they turned out. Thanks for viewing!

My version of Yoda, after looking at a few on CC, I just had to go for it. He turned out kinda short and fat but, oh well. Inspiration came from Queenies cakes.

elaborate cake originally planned for our friends grooms cake, but that design fell through only hours before we had to leave for the delivery in another state. i had about 6 hours to take the existing cake and turn it into another design...this is what we ended up with. handpainted vegetation, fondant stump, and yucky looking green piping gel for the swamp!

Star Wars cake for a seven year old little boy. White cake with buttercream frosting. Bottom layer is buttercream, top layer is fondant. Accents are fondant. I love yoda : ) Also, around the bottom layer, I wrote "The Force is Strong with Evan" in buttercream.
