The recipient of this cake was also the recipient of the baby shower cake I just posted, so the lady throwing the shower asked me to make a small cake just for her to acknowledge her birthday. 4", 3" and 2". FUN!

I made this cake for my family's restaurant to sell by the slice for dessert that day lol...I only had 10 minutes to decorate it lol...It's yellow cake with chocolate ,mousse in between the layers, and milk chocolate frosting with dark chocolate little flowers and a tiny pink edible pearl in the center of each flower..its definitely not the best but for having 10 minutes to decorate it...im fairly happy with it lol!! <3

Final cake for course 1. Start course 2 next week!! can't wait. This cake was lemon cake, lemon pudding filling, and lemon buttercream icing. I thought the icing was to sweet, but I didn't have any complaints from my Cake crew!

I haven't worked w/ buttercream as decor or molding chocolate.(addicted to fondant) Wanted to try basketweaving and the viva method. Went pretty well. Had a hard tome glueing flowers on. Flowers were tricky being chocolate and all. Tastes soooo much better than fondant. Any comments for improvement Welcome. :)

This is the 2nd wedding cake I made. I can definitely see my flaws!!! Heart shape is not the easiest shape to do, is it?!?! They loved it in every way, but I wish I could have got my icing more smooth.

Chocolate cake with dulce de leche filling at the bottom and chocolate cake with cherries and whipped cream at the top. Decorated with fondant and fondant babies. Took an hour for each baby, but it was amazing to see the results and people's reactions to it. Had lots of fun making it and it tasted great.

This is definitely for the chocolate lover, it's German chocolate cake torted with chocolate pudding, and chocolate buttercream icing! The flowers on top are royal icing with a few fondant leaves. I thought this was sweet enough already without piling more icing on top for decorations lol

I know it's not the best but I am teaching myself everything-thanks to all the help here on CC. This is a yellow DH cake (by the way very moist and fluffy), with buttercream frosting and leftover royal frosting roses-I wanted to use them up-LOL. It was YUMMY! I was in heaven! LOL.

Anniversary cake for a couple celebrating their 25th anniversary. They had yellow daisies at their wedding, so that was the theme for the cake. Cake is a 1/2 sheet white cake with buttercream icing and royal icing daisies.

Copied a pic found on this site (thanks). First Barbie cake. Dress was much simplier than I had anticipated. The MMF flowers were time consuming but fun.

This cake was made for 15 year old twins. The party decorations were bright and colorful so I tried to imitate the colors on the cake. I was not too pleased with it but the girls liked it.

This cake was done for my daughters 25th birthday. All icing is butter rum. The cake was carrot cake. Tinkerbell, was drawn on rice paper with edible marker and then filled in with Wilton Decorating gel. Very good and easy technique. It wasn't my original plan but, I was very satisfied with the end result. I also have to add, this cake was done in 3hrs 20 minutes. (From baking the cakes to the last decoration.

This cake was made to match the decoration of the party, i.e. napkins, roses etc. It is chocolate cake filled with raspberry mousse and whipped cream with toblerone chocolate.Covered in fondant, modelling and roses made of marzipan. In Denmark 18 year is a big thing as you can vote for parliament, get a drivers license, take out loans, move to your own apartement and other stuff related to the laws of the country.

This was for an 18th Birthday party. It was a double layer 8 inch yellow cake iced in buttercream with MMF flowers. They requested yellow elder flowers which are the national flower of the Bahamas. I tried to get them as close as I could to the real flower but had no luck with buttercream so I switched to MMF. I put shimmer dust on them.
