9" round. Made this for a guy at my work for his wife BD very last minute as I am walking out the door. I used my chocolate rose mold for the floweres and did a chocolate transfer for the HB. I had to make the frosting twice because I forgot to sift the coco.

I wasn't sure what category to put this in - I just made it for a dinner party at my house. It is lemon pudding cake with raspberry buttercream, and raspberry and lemon mousse filling. Super yummy! The piping was a bit rushed, but everyone loved it!

Made for Mother's Day for a friend's girlfriend. He wanted it to be the sun and to say 'Hanne Zonnetje' (which means Hanne - little sunshine). I added some orange pixie dust to the suns rays, just because I thought it looked so boring! He loved it though, and paid me twice as much as I asked for it - hooray!!!

This was my first cake sold! I sold it to a lady at work who wanted a cake for her mom. I wasn't really happy with the way it turned out, but she was thrilled and that's all that mattered. Yellow cake, whipped icing.

I actually did this cake for a demonstration for classes. I came up with the idea from a cake in a book I just purchased, but I changed it up to do the whole cake in buttercream. I wanted to keep it simple enough so people wouldn't be intimidated by the design. The colors worked better than I thought they would!

this is a Lemon cake with seedless raspberry filling. The Icing is SugarShack's buttercream (thanks). I made the flowers to reinforce what I learned in course 3....I donated the cake to the school. I learned a lesson, make sure you ahve enough stamens before you start: hence the 2 different colors. thanks,

My friend asked me to make a cake for her BBQ tomorrow - whatever I wanted to do. I saw a bee hive once & always wanted to do one, so it came to mind... I did a search here at cake central, for "bee", and then "bee hive". I looked at all your wonderful creations & came-up with my own. I wish I had taken note of your names, thank you so much for the inspiration! This was so much fun! :D

I got this idea from "The Whimsical Bakehouse" book I have. I didn't have time to let the different colors set before smoothing it so it came out more peach then what it was supposed to come out like. Oh well. Everyone still loved it.

This is one of three cakes I have due for tomorrow. This one was done for a very sweet lady at our church who used to play piano for us. She's not able to play anymore and misses it so much, and I just thought I bright little birthday cake would cheer her up. Now I have to get busy on the other two which I have to travel to Florida with Friday morning. OH BOY!

This was done for some really close friends. What looks black is actually teal. It even printed out looking black for some reason. I done a box of chocolates earlier today and the box was purple and it showed up and printed out navy blue too. Oh well, at least it's right in person. Thanks for taking the time to look.

This was for a baby shower at work. She didn't know what she was having so I tried the best I could. It was a 10 in. devils food cake with vanilla creme buttercream with a chocolate moose filling. These are the first blocks I've tried. They were a little hard since I didnt use fondant. Everyone LOVED the cake, and didn't even notice. They looked ok. Thanks for looking.
