I made this cake because I wanted an alice themed cake... the face didn't turn out the way I would have liked, but I didn't have a face mold, and the stores were closed... but I'm still glad it turned out as nicely as it did.

This is the most ridiculously unstable cake in history. Maybe not quite, since it actually is standing, but having a tilt table is a serious contributer to that!

I made it for an unbirthday party, like Alice in Wonderland, hence the Mad Hatter's hat and teacup on top with the disembodied teapot spout pouring into it.

This cake was made for my sister's 25th birthday.
She loves Alice in Wonderland.
Cake was covered in fondant and all decorations were made using fondant and gumpaste except the ribbon on the bottome of the cake.

This cake was done for my best friend. She wanted something from Alice in Wonderland, so we made this mushroom cake. I used the bake-n-fill pan so the interior cake was red and the rest was yellow. The icing is all buttercream icing.

The top hat was foam covered in mmf. The teacups were gumpaste. All the other accents were mmf. I was gonna do a topsy turvy but I sprained my foot yesterday tripping over my daughter on the stairs while carrying a laundry basket. After a trip tp the ER I came home and sat down in a chair and finished frosting and decorating the bottom. Now I can put up my foot and relax.

This was a joint CC effort brought to you by Candyce0928, jmt1714 and myself! Candyce0928 made the igloo, penguins, pool, and left side of the cake. jmt1714 made the gingerbread men. I made the gingerbread house, trees, right side of cake, and did other sporadic decorating. Cake was made for the foster kids' holiday party in my county and measured in at a whopping 2x3 FEET (double full sheet, 2 layer). Took 3 people to carry it. Thank you to my awesome helpers!!

This cake was inspired by another here on CC. My daughter found the photo and I don't know whose original idea it was-so thank you to the person who designed this. Chocolate cake with marshmallow filling and buttercream icing. I cheated and used chocolate penguins rather than fondant due to a lack of time-but the children at the school liked it!

The tiers are meant to symbolize various characters within Alice in Wonderland. This was our first attempt at using fondant, and it was a lot of fun!!

My cousin wanted an Alice in Wonderland cake and she wanted to be Alice falling down the rabbit hole, hence the brown hair. Had NO idea what I was gonna do, but here's what I came up with. 10", 8" & 6" rounds covered in bc then airbrushed. The "hole" is fondant rolled with a cobblestone impression mat. Alice and all the accessories are gumpaste. The squiggly things are chocolate. :-)

This was totally inspired by Jelena here on cc. My friend is having a queen of hearts birthday party, and so we decided to make her the queen (she's not white) and we are having a BLAST putting this all together. this is 4" tall, all gumpaste, my 1st GP figure modeling! . this tops a 3 tiered cupcake tower of red rose cupcakes, along with card figures (painting the roses red) ...thanks for looking.

I made this for my dear friend Keisha for her birthday. The party was themed "Queen of Hearts" and painting the roses red. The figures were made in gumpaste and I made the queen in her likeness (note the beautiful bronze skin!) . The cupcakes were decorated to look like roses. I'll post close ups of each of the figures. They were TREMENDOUSLY inspired by Jelena and her awesome A.I.W. cake. Thanks for looking!

This cake was inspired by Alice in Wonderland since that was the customer's favortite thing in the whole world, and actually it is for her baby shower! The color scheme was requested by the client, and was supposed to match the decorations.

6" & 8" topsy turvey. The bottom tier was made with the diamond impression mat and diamond cut outs, the cards were all made of gumpaste, and the tea cup and tea pot were made of fondant. The base was made with a million fondant squares! :)
(the mom had her own ribbon she wanted to put around the base, that's why it's naked ;-)

This is my second cake. I wanted to try something colorful and
whimsical, so I thought I would do a take on Alice in Wonderland.
This is my first time sculpting a character and using shimmer dust.
I put a little piece of cake that looks like a bite was taken out of it. I think
that I will build on the same look in the future but on a larger scale.
I already have an idea that would include putting Alice on the cake and
some of the king's "card" men. As always, I love to get feedback from others.
