Took inspiration from LauraCondon!! Thank you so much for your fantastic cake! I sent a couple pictures from here to my friend to pick a design and she loved your cake so much that that is exactly what she wanted. I did take some liberties as I had issues with the tea cup and my fondant. Added the red hearts to cover some flaws and muddled through with the teacup. The numbers on the side of the hat are the birthday girl's age and the month she as born as requested by my friend.
Banana cake with ganache filling and icing.

the mad hatter (johnny depp style!)! hope it creeps you out! muhahhahahha! all edible, all hand made! This was for a cake competition (I won 3rd place) and I simply ran out of time to do all the last minute details (such as more hat pins and the 10/6 on the hat, the hands, etc). Hope you enjoy!

Cheshire Cat holding 2 whimsical cakes on his back with tail wrapped around his body. Each stripe is sprinkled in glitter. This was going to be a topsy turvy cake however, that task failed so this was my "save".

This was my 1st attempt at a topsy-turvy cake. Was for a girlfriends Alice in Wonderland themed party (pink Mad-Hatter tier). Flavors are chocolate and white to match the blk/white theme. Buttercream icing and fondant accents (expect the ribbon around the 2nd tier)

WASC cake in shape of mushroom. All decorations either fondant or gumpaste. Hookah was painted with gold luster dust. I really had a great time making all the details for this cake; I especially liked making the smoked letters. This was my very favorite scene from the movie.

This cake was made for a Salvation Army fund raiser that had an Alice in Wonderland theme. It was auctioned off. The winner of the auction cut it up and shared it with the party goers at the event.

The customer's request was a big teacup and the eyes, mouth and tail of the cheshire cat...this is what I came up with. 6" and 8" tiers, chocolate and WASC , iced in buttercream. Teacup is wrapped in MMF and all decorations are MMF as well.

This cake was created for a themed 18th brithday bash. Everything you see is completely edible from head to toe. It took about 4 hours to bake and design. The figures were created a week before the event. The cake is red velvet with cream cheese frosting and hand made marsh mellow fondant. There are characters throughout the cake in a photo frame which are also from edilbe frosting sheets. Alice is holding a book which has in very small print happy 18th birthday. Mad hatter is hand painted with gel colors and royal icing. The expression on the birthday gal was priceless....I enjoyed creating this cake!

I made this for my sister's birthday. Completely out of BC and a little bit of luster dust and I brushed a bit of piping gel over the eyes to make them glossy.

Done for an adult who is a HUGE Alice in Wonderland fan. Table is cake (two 9"x13" side by side). Mad Hatter body is cake, arms, head and hat are RKT. Everything 100% edible. Finished Mad Hatter stood about 2 1/2 feet high so on the table the whole cake was over 3" high. Time on watch set at birthday girl's actual birth date. Piping gel tea and oreo cookies for the dirt. This pic is taken before transporting and setting up so you can see the foam core underneath him. That was later covered with a purple strip of fondant once he reached his destination and corn syrup was added as spilled liquid for the bottle.
