I made this for our church choir Christmas party. Thanks to Aine for the snowman tutorial and to Shelly150 and veragatafera...I used ideas from both their cakes on mine. This is covered in buttercream. Trees are buttercream covered sugar cones. Snowmen are fondant with gumpaste books. Bottom border is fondant balls.

I was asked to do the four sheet cakes for my husband's December graduation banquet. Thanks to CC, I was able to pull it off successfully! This one is Snickerdoodle w/ Cinnamon BC. The pine cones are chocolate BC on pretzel sticks, following a tutorial I found here in the forums. Thanks for looking!

Cream-colored fondant, decorated in black RI, brushed embroidery flowers, silver dragees. I thought the use of black for the main color was an odd choice but in the end it turned out very striking I think. TFL

I made this for a family Christmas party. The igloo was a holiday confetti cake covered with buttercream, marshmallows to make the door. The penguins were fondant and the trees were sugar cones covered with buttercream and sanding sugar. I put coconut and sanding sugar on the platter to look like snow. Thanks to everybody who did penguins on this site, they were my inspiration! Merry Christmas.

This cookie design was actually created by Nancy's Cookies but I liked it so much that I copied it. Thanks for the inspiration Nancy. It's quite a simple design yet still so appealing.

I used a 12 inch square for the base. The large igloo was made in a Pampered Chef Batter Bowl. The two smaller igloos were made from the sports ball, Penguins are fondant. Pearl dust on igloos and the new glittery blue piping gel for the water. Thanks for looking!

The penguins and snowflakes were made from gumpaste and fondant. The snowflakes were dusted with superpearl petal dust to give them a sparkley icy look (which did not show too well in the pictures). The penquins were individually hand formed and hand painted.
