Hi sugar friends!
One more seasonal one for you :-) This was probably my favorite winter wedding of all those I've done. I LOVED all the detail on this cake. You would not believe how it shimmered, too. I used lots of disco dust and made Jack Frost whisps of frost by painting a whisp of water on the cake, then placing disco dust on it, it looked really cool! Snowflake topper is gp. Thanks for peeking!

I am really pleased with this cake. It is a yellow cake with chocolate mousse, and mocha fillings. The sizes are 12, 8 & 4. It is covered in white fondant and piped purple royal icing with silver dragees. The snowflakes I made using fondant and a silicone mold. The drum board is covered in white fondant then covered again with royal icing snowflakes, and the edge is covered in satin ribbon. Then I dusted the whole thing down liberally with pearl dust.
Thanks for looking!

What fun, a snowman picnic! This fun cake is a collaborative effort of my self and my amazing head chef. The trees are sugar cones with piped royal icing. Everything else is fondant. We have the “daddy†snowman preparing to pelt his son on the ladder with snowballs. The daughter is gracefully ice skating on a lovely pond in a beautiful gown with a snowball tiara. Next to our son is a picnic blanket with a basket of goodies and some steaming hot cocoa. Grandpa has lost his hat flying down the hill on his toboggan. Finally we have another snowman who decided to stay in his cozy igloo and watch the snowman weather casters on the tube.
We hope you love this as much as we did making it.

11x15 Winter birthday cake. Buttercream icing, cardinals are royal icing transfers. I used snowflake cookie cutters to imprint the snowflake shapes, then traced over them with icing. Inspired by another cake I saw on here!

This was a joint CC effort brought to you by Candyce0928, jmt1714 and myself! Candyce0928 made the igloo, penguins, pool, and left side of the cake. jmt1714 made the gingerbread men. I made the gingerbread house, trees, right side of cake, and did other sporadic decorating. Cake was made for the foster kids' holiday party in my county and measured in at a whopping 2x3 FEET (double full sheet, 2 layer). Took 3 people to carry it. Thank you to my awesome helpers!!

I was inspired by mawagner's cupcakes. I piped the snowflakes with candy melts and stuck them into the buttercream. I was surprised I didnt have more breakage, but they really were fast and easy. I found the snowflake template on this site. Thanks for looking!

The inspiration for this cake came from cakelady48's Christmas Party at Harleys cake.
It was soo much fun to make. This is only my second time using fondant or decorating a cake period, but I think it went really well! It is a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate mint truffle frosting. Thanks for looking!

This is my 3rd "Winter Greetings" inpired cake. My Mother is the artist of a Lenox china pattern called...you guessed it..."Winter Greetings." Anyway it is for a friend of my mom's that is having a holiday party and wants the cake to match the china. Anyway, I am not really happy with the way it turned out! I had "caker's block" and I just had trouble coming up with the concept. It looked prettier in my head. Though it does have a lot of sparkles and glitter that you can't really see in the photo.

I made this for a friend's winter birthday. Banana cake with Spice cream cheese frosting. I had to refrigerate because of the cream cheese...I believe that the change of temps from fridge to a warm room compromised the MMF. The MMF went from being taught to sagging. I may have also rolled the MMF too thin.

First time decorating cookies with royal icing. I put each color on one at a time after the last had set up. Next time I will put them down all at once so they sink together.

This was for a bridal shower. It is MMF that I didn't color, which ends up being off white (this angle makes it look even more off white than it was). I put the white shimmer dust all over it. The balls for the border on the top tier are MMF. Snowflakes are royal icing. The extra dots and border at the bottom are royal icing. This was my first stacked cake and first time making anything with royal icing. The snowflakes were definitely tricky and some broke, but I think with practice it can get better

The theme of the shower was "Baby it's Cold Outside". 6, 8, 10 inch rounds iced in ivory fondant and topped with white fondant "snow
caps" that were brushed with glitter gel, then coated with sanding sugar. The fur and pompoms on the booties were glittery too, but edible glitter doesn't show up in photos. Patchwork cutter snowflakes.
