French vanilla cake with buttercream ruffles. Ruffled flowers are fondant. The additional picture features a two tier vertical ruffle cake in jade green, a two tier rosette cake in salmon and German chocolate grooms cake. I had so much fun doing these cakes. Thanks for looking.

A first attempt at using lace presses and I loved it! After a bit of experimenting I found I prefered using flower paste in the press rather than gumpaste. The design is based on a cake by Rosalind Miller that the bride found on the internet.

I made this cake recently for a bride who came into the shop with a cake picture from Art Eats Bakery in SC. We reworked the design a little to make it into her own creation. I have been seeing lots of brides wanting peacock influences in their bridal cakes and decor lately.

Young girl asked for the second anniversary cupcakes. Well.... that's what she wanted. Chocolate cupcakes and mini cupcakes filled with raspberry IMBC and fresh raspberries, covered in marzipan/fondant mix.

8"x8" light blue fondant with white royal icing leaves. Top tier 6"x4" with light blue fondant and white ribbon. Topped with bride and groom birdies made out of gumpaste. Idea from alsiecandy.com

Last minute order, sorry for the cake board, no time to decorate or search for the hexagon shaped one. I would quite enjoy doing something like this as a bigger tiered cake. Vanilla cake with raspberry IMBC, fresh raspberries and peaches, iced with white chocolate ganache/IMBC mix. Covered with fondant, decorations F/GP mix.
