This design has been created for a very special little girl?s Christening event! The cake is soft in colors, but rich in flavors and meeting the family?s request of low sugar and European taste. The bottom and top tiers are 3 layers of vanilla cake and filled with a delicious Creme Diplomat and fresh strawberries. Both tiers are covered with Swiss buttercream and vanilla fondant The bottom tier is decorated with pink French Macarons filled with lavender white chocolate ganache. The Macarons becomes the center of a fantasy white flower.

Last month I bought 3 Alan Dunn's books, but after looking at all those gorgeous flowers I realized they weren't quite suitable for a beginner flower maker like me. So I started with some simple flowers and particularly wanted to try making grass. I've tucked stems in a dummy to let them dry and they looked quite good. It's fondant, gumpaste grass, birds are painted. There is also a heart cloud on the second top tier (barely visible in the photo). Sorry for the photo quality, it looks so great 'live' and so bad in this photo.

Wedding cake I made for my Sister in Laws Brothers wedding. The hardest cake to date! The bottom tier is 16" styrofoam as I couldnt bake it in my oven!! There are 50 sets of four hand made sugar roses, all sides of the cake have hand pressed fondant lace. It has been pearlised using white pearl petal dust, and then tiny dots are piped all over! The cake was topped with a gorgeous white porcelaine couple topper at the wedding. VERY proud of this cake and not sure I will do such a large square cake again unless paid some serious money!! Lol!

This is my 30th Birthday cake! I LOVE blue and peonies! :) The bottom tier has strips of white and blue fondant over the base fondant, topped with a pressed lace bunting with pressed fondant pearls down the bottom. Second tier is wrapped with wide ivory grosgrain ribbon with a diamante '30' pic on the front. Topped with two handmade sugar peonies! LOVED making a cake for me!! :)

I LOVE big sugar flowers, so I bought the cutter and veiner set for myself, for my birthday!! I LOVE them! I couldnt master the closed bud, but love the open one! This is white with pearlised dust, I used the white pearl dust on the green stamens aswell :)

Cake is strawberry cake with cake is strawberry with vanilla buttercream, it's a 9x13 cake I shaped an aluminum pie pan into the shape I needed for the bottom and trimmed it to fit it to the rest of the cake,the boobs are from a mini fluted cake pan set .
