These roses are made out of royal icing and they are actually a very pretty purple. In every pic they show up blue. I don't know why.

This is the 2nd wedding cake I made. I can definitely see my flaws!!! Heart shape is not the easiest shape to do, is it?!?! They loved it in every way, but I wish I could have got my icing more smooth.

This cake was for a couple who wanted a single tier as they didn't have a lot of guests or funding. Instead of making a very plain cake, I added the vines & other details. I was very nervous when they came, incase they didn't like it, but they did! Thanks for looking!

This was just a plain round yellow cake, white BC. I did absolutely no detail work because the florist was going to put live flowers on it. Oh, brother, did the florist ever. It was absolutely the worst thing I had ever seen.

The bride wanted the icing to look like stucco. Real roses were used to accent. This was my second wedding cake.

This was done for a couple who are famous musicians. In addition to these six cakes, I make four chococlate heart shaped cakes frosted in chocolate and topped with chocolate covered strawberries. The rose were actually very deep red (live) roses. The cakes were yellow, torted with lemon flavored BC.

I used the homemade marshmallow fondant to cover my cake. I love the taste better than store bought. I love making the fondant roses. It was a fun cake to make!

The couple married & had their reception river-side; they would depart the reception via boat so they picked this for their cake. The boat and couple are hand molded. Trees are choco transfer - uuggg very delicate! and shells are choco molded. Tiers are iced in buttercream. Unfortunately no matter how many times & ways I tried I could NOT get the man to sit up straight! :(

I can't believe we actually did this cake! My friend April (Ape on this forum) and I made this cake together this weekend. Her 1st wedding cake, my 2nd. It is butter cake with pineapple buttercream filling covered with bavarian cream icing. The flowers on the bridge are silk and the white roses around the bottom are Wilton's lighted garland. This cake is in the Wilton Wedding Dream Cakes book, but with peach roses.

This is a view of the back of the cake. When we got to the receiption hall and found that the cake table was at the balconey on the 2nd floor, we had to improvise and add flowers to the back side of the bridge!

The cake stand is the kind that holds 4 candles on the corners candles were not right for this cake so I made 4 small flower arrangements to put in their place. The cake topper I made using a mini vase filled with flat gold marbles. Rest is buttercream icing.

This was my first Wedding Cake...a friend of my brother's asked me to make her wedding cake...I was so afraid and stressed out I almost didn't charge for it. The Bride loved it! I was so excited.

This cake was done from memory. The Bride emailed me and asked me if I would make her cake. She gave me a website to look at the cake (6 months) before the wedding. The 2 weeks before the wedding...the picture was no longer on the website and the Bride couldn't find her photograph of the cake. However the cake turned out fine and the Bride and Groom loved the cake.

This was my first attempt at a wedding cake for a friend of mine. It is ivory buttercream. I used edible pearls and did a reverse shell border. I fought with the icing on the top tier because it wouldn't smooth out very well. That really frustrated me, but my friend was very pleased with it, so i guess that is all that counts, right:)?

For this bridal shower cake, I sort of modified a wedding cake out of one of the Wilton cakebooks.

This cake was colored after the dark olive green fabric used in the wedding decor. I tried to choose a picture that would show as much as the color scheme as possible. Opinions? It wasn't my favorite cake because of the dark color - but I did enjoy doing something other than "white"! You can view some of my other cake creations at www.OCakes.com. Thanks for looking!

This is a three tier (12, 10, 8 inch; two 2" layers each); classic white cake with vanilla flavor. Torted and frosted/decorated with vanilla flavored buttercream. Swiss dots in buttercream and "celadon" green ribbon (from Wal-Mart!!). This wedding was today (3/17)!!! Everything about this cake went perfectly -- finally!!!!!!!!!
