I made this cake for my nephew's 3rd Birthday. It is covered in MMF. The water is MMF colored in blue and a thin layer of pipping gel on it to make it look like water. The figureines are MMF mixed with gumpaste.

This is (1) 10-inch, (3) 8-inch and (2) 6-inch rounds. I used BC and MMF for the decorations. The sand is crushed vanilla wafers. I was very thankful for the many ideas posted on this website, they helped me out a lot on this cake!

Waterfall Cake with a working falls, going down the front of the cake. The pump is in the box below the cake with the falls circulating the water down the front.

Made for my step-son who does hardscape landscaping for a living. Chocolate cake with Raspberry Chocolate Chip filling. Covered in fondant. Trees are royal icing, burlap ball is gumpaste. Rocks, shovel, pallet and turtle are fondant/gumpaste. Waterfall is fondant covered with piping gel. Dirt by shovel is just cake crumbs.

For the MC team at our church. cakesbyanh's cake was much better than mine but, my husband gave me a thought for inspiration and I found her cake...it was great for John 7:38. TFL

Inspired by fellow ccs November cakes and Boween's Assistant. Made for my 90 yr. old grandma and my uncle, who flew across the country to visit. He LIVES to fish so I had to add that for him. The bottome to cakes are dummies.

Plumeria, Anthrium and Flamingos are made from gumpaste. Cake is covered in MMF. Was make for a couple who got married in Hawaii. The bride has 2 kids so for the cake topper I made 2 large flamigos and 2 small ones.

I first saw this cake on Freed's Bakery and then on CC. This is my take on it. It was my first cake outside of the decorating classes. All edible except the dolphins (my daughter had to have them).

Made for 10 y/o girl. All b/c cake, flowers are made of fondant, shells and trees and flipflops are molded chocolate and sand is vanilla waffers with edible sparkles. Had ideas to work with on my own and got lots of ideas from this site...thanks everyone!

6" 2-layer, 9" single layer, and 13" single layer cakes stacked with all cakes aligned at the back. Waterfall is blue tinted piping gel, and flowers are gumpaste.

I'd done a luau cake before and this customer wanted the exact same thing but wanted it to include Dora & Boots. I was so excited when I was exiting a store & saw this hula girl that was Dora!!! It worked perfectly on the cake & the customer loved it all! Boots is under the umbrella getting some shade, lol. TFL!

Made 2 cakes for brother & sister celebrating birthday together...this one is the boys cake. Mom could only find pirate figures. I added surfboards. Buttercream frosting, fondant for water with piping gel to give sheen.

Everything is edible with the exception of the dowels in the palm trees and cake for support. I used Michelle's WONDERFUL recipe for my fondant. The top layer is carrot cake with homemade cream cheese frosting and the bottom layer is devil's food with a cherry filling and homemade cream cheese frosting as well. This is my first try at something like this and my second try at fondant. It was a big hit at the party. The inspiration came from other Cake Central users. Thanks for looking!!!

1 layer 6" round on 2 layer 8" rounds frosted in buttercream with MMF hibiscus, rose, fantasty flowers, leaves and butterflies. Colored piping gel used to make waterfall.

8 x 8 mint choc. chip cake w/choc. mousse filling. Carved out small portion of cake to create waterfall. Used piping gel to give shine to water. BC frosting.

This is my first waterfall. 3 8" cakes chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Water is buttercream, rocks are covered in fondant. Let me know what you think, good or bad. TFL.

The girls wanted a cake will a tiki hut, waterfall, flipflops and seashells. I got the Tiki hut idea from this website (Thanks). All accents were made using fondant. I used chocolate and regular buttercream. I ran out of fondant at the last minute so the bar looks a little bare.

For someone going to Atlantis which has a big natural waterpark setting with I had 20 hours notice for this. Luckily I make up all sorts of flowers and fondant accents inadvance.

This was for my sister's baby shower, thank goodness. The vines and flowers are royal icing and the rest is buttercream icing. The poor frog was about melted by the time I got there from the heat, 2 hours away. I was running a bit behind and totally forgot the mouth of the frog. I had my kit but she loved it anyways and didnt want me to touch it.

Made this for a co-worker's grandkids. She wanted one cake for both of their birthdays. She always admires my cakes so I wanted to do something special for this. Not just two seperate designs on one sheet cake. I think it looked better in person then in the picture. It was a fun cake to do.

I made this cake for a friend that loves to fish and was having a little boy. I used icing, fondant, and piping gel. The cake was a big hit and an easy one to do!

Diego cake, Vanilla cake, vanilla bean SMBC. This cake was done in one day, Can't believe I got it done, but I did. It was for a friend of mine, her son wanted a Diego cake. Picked up the animals at toys r us, figured he would love to be able to play with the animals instead of scuplting them. I used the wilton spray green to give a textured uneven effect,! Rocks, Waterfall, Flowers, cake are Michelle Foster's Fondant.

My first attempt at a waterfall. Monkey, flowers, rocks, and palm trees are fondant. Hula girl is a cake with a "polly pocket" inserted in it :-)

This is for a boy having an Indiana Jones birthday party. White cake covered with chocolate buttercream. Pretzel bridge, pretzel and buttercream palm trees, buttercream and piping gel waterfall, buttercream stones. Toy cake topper, snakes and insects.

1/2 sheet cake with part of a 9" round cake on top. Carved the mountain down to fit. Used pipping jell for the water. The little green things all over are trees.

WASC cake with pineapple filling on first and 3rd tier and banana cake and fresh banana filling on 2nd cake and pineapple BC frosting. Doll, flowers, palm tree, waterfall and rocks are fondant, lei on head, neck and flower belt on skirt are candy flowers. Cake was made to copy a photo of a cake the birthday girl found. Buttercream icing with fondant gumpaste and fondant flowers & seashells. Piping gel and buttercream waterfall. Stucco effect on sides of cake. Fun cake & a happy, cute birthday girl.
