I made this cake for Valentine's at work. I steered away from the traditional Valentine's colors (pink and red) because I really don't like them anyway.. hehe. Chocolate cake covered with MMF and decorated in chocolate buttercream. Based on Wilton design.

This is the largest cake that I have made so far. Its for a Valentine Banquet at my church for all the kids. Its 2 - 12 inch rounds. Cream cheese filling, buttercream icing. . . I used the Melvira Method once more. I love my roller!!! Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!

Valentine Cookie Bouquets made for my 4 neighbor children next door to us, triplets and younger sister. These were also my first cookie bouquets to make and I love it! Sugar cookies coated with royal icing, dark and white chocolates. Also each one has a couple of solid chocolate pops as well.

Sugar cookie cutouts, pale pink iced in royal icing. Royal corneli lace, swirls, criss-cross, etc. designs. Topped with a lavendar mini rose or rose bud. The red cookies are hershey kissable choc chip cookies, cut out and decorated with royal icing. Poor pic, need to get a new camera! Thank for looking, this is my first picture posted.

This is a Marble Fudge Heart Shaped cake with Twinkie and Ganache fillings. Iced with BC and decorated with MMF hearts and roses.

The Bumble bee says to the ladybug--"Will you BEE my LADY?"--in honor of valentines day I made this cake, and it will be my first photo on cake central. The bee and ladybug's body was made from the sports ball pan, their head from cupcakes, their features(eyes, antennas, nose, mouth, legs, wings & body decor) is made from fondant. The grass is coconut flakes with green food coloring added. The cake is a choc raspberry w/ choc rasp ganash.

2 layer 12" heart cake of almond and cherry cake, filled with cherry and almond chocolate buttercream, covered with 50/50 of chocolate clay/fondant, decorated with gumpaste hearts and ribbon roses. The ribbon roses were painted with aztec gold luster dust and came out darker than what I wanted.

I wanted an excuse to decorate a cake. I used my favorite chocolate cake recipe..it is always a hit. I actually cut the cake recipe in half because we didn't want all that cake. Using a round pan, I then cut out the top portion and used it to make the point on the heart. I had no plan in terms of how I was going to decorate it with buttercream frosting. As usual, I just winged it and this is what I came up with.

These cookies are part of a five dozen order. They are NFSC with Toba's glace icing. I forgot to take a picture of them before I delivered them. As a result, a couple of my favorite ones were already claimed. Oh well, at least they loved the cookies.

This cake was ordered from me just because the lady really likes the way they taste. Since it was Valentine's day I used the hearts that I had made out of chite chocolate candy melts for some cupcakes. This picture really distorts the colors.
