I had made this for my Wilton Course 3 "present" cake but the store had a power outage that night and so rather than waste the cake I decorated it with some leftover icing we had laying around. We had blue, white, and green so I decided to whip up some orange, and as you can see made it a underwater cake with schools of fishes floating about.

BC with airbrush, piped coral, mmf starfish and figures, wire for the fish stringer. The 'Just Married' that you see is on the back of a small mmf boat. There is an anchor out of view and piped rope. Mmf diver down flag attached to sucker stick. One of my favorites!

This Nemo cake was so fun to make, everything on the cake except the candels, Nemo, and Dori is edible. the cake started out as a 11x15 cake, then was cut to the shape and the cup pieces were use ontop of the cake to do the coral. all of the sea creatures are made of fondant. the blues and whites in the water bring the cake to life. the seaweed and barnicals are made with moraine powder icing.

This was my final cake for my Wilton Fondant & Gumpaste class. It was 100% inspired by CCers. Sea turtle is all fondant, waves are royal icing, sand is graham cracker crust, coral and shells are candy melts, fish are gumpaste painted with food coloring, everything else is either fondant or gumpaste. Thank you so much for all of the great ideas!

I did this cake for a friend who son was turning 1. She later told me they actually thad 5 birthdays in all they were celebrating, So I incorporated the sign to include all the Birthdays. I was inspired by many cakes here on CC so thanks to all. The bottom tier is a (2) 12" rounds torted and filled with Cream Cheese filling, the top tier is (2) 8" rounds torted and filled. It's covered in Fondant and all of the Details are fondant. The characters are toys we bought as the Disney Store, and the sign is cardboard I painted with brown foodcoloring. The wording is buttercream.

For my cousin's little girl, who has been obsessed with dolphins since she got to swim with one earlier in the year. I took a 4 layer sheet cake and carved the top two layers int othe five. Iced in buttercream with handmade MMF decorations. A few sugar shells were purchased by the mom. MMF dolphins on top. It was a lot of fun!
