Front view of cake - just too darn hot of a car ride home! It looked so pretty in class and of course I forgot my camera and couldn't take a pic till I got home. Still tastes very yummy.

This is a white choc &raspberry mud cake, covered in Ivory fondant with drapes & fake orchids provided by the bride. This is my first proper wedding cake, I was disappointed the cake table wasn't ready when I delivered, so I just had to set up where asked to and take pics, the restaurant were moving it later (eek). I had a multitude of issues with the cake and only hope the bride likes it, am thankful that the flowers and the right camera angle can hide a multitude of sins! 1st time doing drapes.

8 and 10" round cakes, amaretto/chocolate raspberry - red velvet/cream cheese buttercream. Ivory buttercream iced with black satin ribbon border and scroll design around side. Forgot my camera, had to use DH's cell phone. Got there before the florist even showed up. Red roses/petals were supposed to be added. Waiting for photo from photographer.

Two tier offset square fruit cake, covered in marzipan & fondant with edible lilac blossoms, scrolls & butterflies, painted in edible gold. The couple are having an outdoors wedding and just wanted something relatively simple, the design is based on something seen in a magazine chosen by the client, but colours & shape changed. 1st time doweling, thank god the top tier hasn't moved & it's been there for 2 days! I don't know that I'm happy that the colours work together but I am a silver girl not gold.

Hello,
i've made this pink wedding cake.
Two layers and a special wedding cake topper on top.
It's shiny because i rubbed it in with edible glitters !!
The bottom cake was filled with lemon mousse and the top was filled with a cherry flavoured mouse.
Greetings and happy baking,
Eros

I made this cake for my brother's wedding also, but was not asked to. I just didn't think the other would be enough of the vanilla. So this is all French Vanilla w/ buttercream icing. I did this without knowing anything about the "theme" of the wedding but the colors. When I got the the reception site, I was FLOORED! All over the room were these two interlocking hearts! I was so excited that it fit in so perfectly. We ended up not needing this cake after all, but my sister-in-law kept the top heart for their anniversary, and gave the rest to family. She loved it very much.

All BC, 2-toned roses in yellow and orange (fall colors). I discovered at the last minute that the square plate the cake was on wasn't big enough to work with the fountain! So I had to use round plates above and below the fountain, then the cake, on a square cake plate, was sat on top of the round plates. The 1" gap, caused by the plate legs, was filled in with silk florals. For a near last minute disaster, I don't think anyone knew it wasn't SUPPOSE to be this way!

This is the cake I made in the Wilton Level Two final class. I wasn't fond of making all the little RI flowers for the past few weeks, but it pays off when you can decorate a cake so quickly.

I made these for my daughter's wedding 2 years ago. I copied them exactly form the magazine she showed me. Can't remember the magazine to give credit or the designer. Thanks to whoever you are!!! Cakes are 8x4's. French Vanilla with raspberry filling on top of one tier. The rest are cake dummies. They were my first wedding cakes and use of fondant. Practiced for several months before the wedding. To scared to use all real cake! We had lots of pastries to serve anyway. (Fondant addition begins)!

My third cake. This time I learned how to smooth buttercream (Viva rocks!) and how to keep my fondant and gumpaste from cracking. The problem this time was that my buttecream kind of dried out overnight, and started getting all droopy. I used corn syrup and vinegar in the icing to help prevent cracking, but it still dried and slid. I gotta search the forums for an answer to that issue. But I'm getting there. Practice makes perfect. The only things not edible on this cake are the wires and cake topper

Made for my mom and a friend of hers, who has the same name. We were invited over to celebrate their name day together, so I figured two cakes were in order. One is Garash Torte, the other is our staple flourless walnut with a combination of pastry cream and SMBC. I had left over fondant in those colors so my goal was to just use it up....

I'm still practicing and my cakes haven't been coming out the way I'd like. But this is my final cake, and first attempt at tiering. The cakes are 8 x 2 and 6 x 2, but next time I will do a 9 inch on the bottom.

Made this for my aunt who's birthday was the same day as our family's Christmas get-together. Got the inspiration for this cake from the Wilton site's A Very Merry-Go-Round cake. Bottom is a 2 layer 8 x 2 inch round, top is two layer 6 x 2 inch round. Buttercream. NFSC cookies with rbc and royal accents. Real candy canes and mints.

Inspired by a cake found on Photobucket, this cake has two tiers of three layer chocolate cake. Chocolate icing is lurking under the Fondant, with fondant accents (my first fondant roses).

Sorry, the back of my pan was dirty! LOL Wilton says that for a 2 layer 9X13 pan you can get 45 servings. Well, I got about 41 servings using the 1 1/2"X 2" party servings. Hope this helps someone!
Thanks for looking
